ABOUT
A student run organization at the University of Washington founded in the spring of 2013, Taiko Kai teaches individuals to play taiko (太鼓) and spreads awareness of Japanese culture in the Seattle community. We hope to provide a fun and social environment for our members, while receiving a rigorous workout! Feel free to come check us out at practice. Everyone is welcome!
Membership fees are $30 per quarter (about $2 per practice or 50 cents per hour). Check out our Practices page for more information. We love to meet new people interested in taiko and would be thrilled to have you!
